I called eVGA and the guy told me to uninstall my drivers and reinstall them in safe mode. It worked! Crysis, TF2, and Bioshock all worked like they were intended to.

oh god, now I just tried TF2... there was a constant switching b/w my desktop and the black screen with the classic valve music jitters... it was a battle to get TM running and to shut TF2 down.
I was successful in playing COD4 w/o a crash.
