Well I did a lot more testing, and it appears to be almost entirely blck related, not memory speed. My current highest rock-solid setting is 190x20 (3.8G, no turbo boost), 1520 ram speed, 1.3vcore, 1.35VTT. Couldn't get past about 170 with a 1.30VTT. What's weird is that I can run 15...
The mem multiplier is set to whatever results in a 1600 mem speed. I'll try testing by pairs, see whats up. So should this configuration be working just fine?
Will the bclk effect the stability of the memory regardless of what the memory is specifically clocked to? That's why it seems weird to me--the memory is at stock timings and 1600MHz, it's running whats on the label, it's not "overclocked". I guess my question is, should I exchange this pair...
I'm having a weird problem with some RAM--my system is a Gigabyte P55-USB3, i5 750, and 2x2GB Corsair XMS3 1600mhz. It's running with a 200mhz bclk, 20x multiplier, and 1600mhz RAM speed. It's been running rock stable for a couple months, and when I first set it up, I stressed it with the Intel...
heeeee. thread resurrection for good cause! My dell 21" has been getting brighter and nastier for years.... i have no idea why I never googled the damn problem. I'd just liek to point out that I've been dealing with horrible image quality for like 4 years now, and all I had to do was run the...
I have txt document of a DNA sequence--essentially a continuous series of letters, about 215,000 of them. I'm trying to figure out a way that I can go to a specific charcter number, basically, move the cursor to, say, the 50,000th character in the series. I'm ahving a hell of a time finding...
Im currently using a USB-to-Serial adapter from "Prolific"... it looks like the supplier for quite a few obscure companies... bought it from newegg a while back. Im using the newest drivers available for it...
For the most part, it works perfectly, and it has for a while. Recently, I've tried...
I need a new battery for an older Dell laptop, anyone know any good sources besides Dell and ebay (im a little weary about batteries from ebay...)? I now get 22mins of time on one charge... :( :D
It is somewhat old... but if it was worn out, wouldn't it charge to 100% but just not last very long? Has does it calculate the percentage used... and why doesnt it just keep charging until its full?
I was wondering why I had so little battery power (about 30 minutes or so) after I had the thing plugged. Just checked the battery status and noticed this:
It's, er, "knowingly" not charging the battery all the way (it says its running on AC, not charging). If I use it for a bit...
