Im currently using a USB-to-Serial adapter from "Prolific"... it looks like the supplier for quite a few obscure companies... bought it from newegg a while back. Im using the newest drivers available for it...
For the most part, it works perfectly, and it has for a while. Recently, I've tried to use it with newer software for the same app, and it seems to be having trouble sending commands rapidly. It appears I never ran into this problem before simply because the bit rate was slower and the writes just werent that rapid... but now I'm seeing issues. It looks like I need a better adapter... anyone have suggestions?
