Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hiya, i couldn't tell from page 1 when it was updated last, but i'm in the market for a gig switch and kinda leaning toward the netgears....are these still the latest and recommended models:
Netgear GS724T
Netgear GS108T
When browsing the netgear models (a lot of them) i've also noticed...
Yes i am pulling ip's for my isp's dns servers, however, i cannot ping them. My XP pc is irrelevant at this point since my server can't even connect to internet. The xp machine must connect to the internet via the server.
i could, but then i'd be exposing my ip :D But, since the onboard nic is connected directly to the modem, the same ip, dns, dhcp, gateway always come back the same. ip on the gig card is static.
The NAT is configured with RRAS (routing and remote access)....so any dns request made by an internal pc is routed through the NAT (which basically acts like a router) and sends the request externally.
But lets not focus on the whole NAT thing, 'cause this issue is present on the other...
The TCP/IP properties on the gig nic is set to a static ip address as for it serves as the Internal interface for the NAT to which all other pc's on the network connect to. The properties also have a static ip for the dns server as 127.0.0.1 which is also typical for an internal NAT interface...

There seems to be many posts about this on hardforum as well as Nvidia's site. However, out of the so called "fixes" none have worked for me. I'm open to any suggestions, here's what happened in my scenario:
PC running XP MCE 2005 with no issues then motherboard died. Replaced motherboard...
When i open Media Center, randomly it will freeze at the menu screen....i can't even ctrl+alt+del it...it hard locks the computer. So i have to manually restart it. Sometimes it will lock up if in go from full screen to a window. Sometimes it locks up while watching tv...and it seems to...
I have a desktop....if you've read my original post, the latptop was issued to me from work, i don't have a choice in what is given to me. Anyone else have any useful advice?
I've been playing Halo PC for a long time on a Dell D810 laptop with a X300 video card.
This laptop was issued to me from work and is now out of warranty....so, normal procedure is to replace with new laptop...so, they replaced it with a Lenovo (IBM) Thinkpad T61 with a Nvidia Quadro NVS/FX...
Wasn't sure where to post this, but seems to be related to the OS. For Server 2003 SP1 on a PowerEdge 1800, loading Dell's display driver shows up as a Radeon 7000 Series.
Using this driver i'm unable to use the native resolution of my 1908WFP of 1440 x 900.
Unfortunately, this was the...
