There seems to be many posts about this on hardforum as well as Nvidia's site. However, out of the so called "fixes" none have worked for me. I'm open to any suggestions, here's what happened in my scenario:

PC running XP MCE 2005 with no issues then motherboard died. Replaced motherboard (with different make/model) and now when running media center it frequently locks and many times will give me bsod with nv4_disp.

I've gone through several different versions of the forceware drivers, tried different bios settings, tried the memory management registry key...nothing is working. Again, the only thing that changed is the motherboard....and i did do a fresh install of the OS.

Here's the pc specs (don't laugh):

MB: Asus A7V133
CPU: Athlon 1.4ghz
RAM: Corsair 512mb SDRAM CL2
Video: Geforce 7600GS 512mb
PSU: forget make/model, but it was no cheapy and is fairly new
Tuner: ATI TV Wonder 650 pci

any help appreciated.
