Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Maybe it's the fact they are really old now but I'm trying to find a board to support the Intel E5-2670 (8 core cpu not the V3 one) and it seem the cheapest boards are at least $200 any cheaper options to pickup?
Considering buying this board LINK but I'm not sure if it will actually work? I've seen a lot of stories where people ran the 5500 boards inside a regular case and those weird oddball BTX. This seems totally standard besides the mounting holes. Anyone have any ideas or experience?
Oh I totally agree that he could do it for A LOT less money but he seemed to want to still have the enterprise support and also gear that was similar to their production equipment but I wager you could do something similar for like a third or half of what he paid :)
Not mine by a long shot but a good read if you like hyper-v and crazy over the top home labs
