Hi Guys,
Here's my setup. I had been waiting to get these arms for a while. They're damn expensive but finally got them and worth every penny! :)
I currently have a 22" wide and 17" normal aspect.
My next plan is to get as big a screen as the arms will take and use 22" as a secondary in...
Here I go for 2012. Just moved home to finish my last semester in college via commuting :(
I haven't changed much since last year really only using an IKEA Vika Amon and Ergotron dual arms.
And yes the decorating still needs to be finished ;)
How to resize? Sorry.
Hi levk,
Sorry about the delay in replying. I'm sorry to say that I got buried into other things over the past few months and had to put that project on the back burner for a while.
It's on my resolution list for the new year ;) If I have any success i'll update this thread.
Regards
Hi Guys,
I noticed some people have posted setups with the IKEA Micke desk..
I'm planning on buying one of these desks to use with an Erogtron Dual Arm stand. Just wondering what the clearance at the back is like, would it allow me to clamp on the Ergo??
Any body wanna post a reverse angle...
Thanks for the replies guys.. It looks there is some hope for me.
When I get some time i'll try out the various solutions and see how I get on.
@OldSchool That'd be great .. looking forward to hearing from you, cheers!
Hi Guys,
I'm desperately looking for a solution that will allow me to run a VM which allows the guest to directly access the PCI (PCIex) devices plugged into the Host machine.
Currently I must run my media server software (SageTV) on the main install which as a result is limited to 4GB RAM...
I think you confused the whole thread and everybody reading..
I was originally just asking peoples opinions on mixing two hard drives of different rotational speeds into a RAID 1 array.
I'm quite familiar with the different levels of raid and how each one operates.
I would have thought the standard implementation of RAID 1 would give read speeds performance increases to a factor of nX (where n = number of drives) because once written the data is on all the drives..
Anyway.. will it really be that bad if the two speeds are different?
It's a secondary drive.
How do I go about installing the newer drivers? Just through windows or do I need to anything extra?
Will I need to slipstream those drivers when installing Win7 or do they come included?
