Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks Gea, I realize my mistake now. Still pretty new to this.
So I should export the pool first then import it RO? Or are there steps I should be taking before importing? Thanks!
One of my drives in a 2 drive basic pool configuration has failed its SMART status. I tried pulling as much data off as possible, but now it has constant time outs and can't copy any more.
What's the best way to retrieve data from this?
Currently on OI+ latest version of napp-it (ESXI AIO) setup.
I did the replacement, but towards the end it was slowing down to around 4MB/s reslivering. The entire reslivering process took over 4 days. 2 days ago, it was at around 96%. When I checked yesterday, the pool didn't show up as listing anything, it just said "Pool Status:" and nothing was...
Thanks for the quick reply and your work on napp-it, _Gea!
How would I physically replace this disk? Do I leave the server on, plug in the disk and then select the bad disk to replace with the new one? Or should I really power everything down to replace it?
I need help with a potential problem with my 2 disk mirrored pool. As of late it has really bad access times (30 secs+) and some of the files after going a directory or two deep don't show up.
Unfortunately I've never fully scrubbed this mirror (or any other pools I have setup).

On my pair of mirrored drives, one disk with smart errors is causing problems with access time and listing of files. Is there a way to shut off the bad disk, retrieve some of the files I need from the pool? My replacement comes tomorrow/weekend, but I need some files now.

I recently noticed degraded performance and decided to check the SMART status of my disks:

Switch it is then. Unfortunately it means another wall wart to the problem.
The other router is a Mikrotik, but I have a good setup on it right now which I'm unwilling to mess with.
Thanks for the suggestions.
My ISP allows me to have 2 IP addresses and I'm thinking of hooking up two routers (1 wireless, 1 wired only) to grab each of the IPs.
Instead of using a switch or hub, are there "splitters" which can plug directly into the cable modem and split into two ports? I'm trying to not add another...
