New AMD Drivers Coming July 31st

Lol, the only part of the chain which is showing problems is buggy, irrelevant, and not visible to the end user. pleaaaaaase, troll harder

    Intel's Iris Pro:

Again, you're just making radical assumptions based on the fact that Intel is "the king of silicon mass production". So what? Here's a credible reason why they can't: THEY HAVE NEVER MADE A DISCRETE GPU BEFORE. Do you think AMD and Nvidia just start from scratch each time they make a card? No...

My god, are you capable of reading. See above ^^^ did you read the link? Disable AA in game, try forcing it through CCC instead.

This fix worked for this guy. Other people are saying it's a CPU problem, low CPU utilization causing the CPU to go into idle states, maybe disabling power states in the BIOS would fix it.

[VC] AMD Radeon HD 9000 Series Launching in October?

It performs like a top card should perform, but I can't say too much. Expect some weird news with the memory system, it's less like recent cards and more like good 'ol Nvidia big-die method. Ref cooler isn't even close to finalized yet, dno bout that

New AMD Drivers Coming July 31st

Supports WHAT on single cards? Lawl, there aren't any real issues (besides maybe FC3?) on single cards, what do you want it to fix

New AMD Drivers Coming July 31st

No improvements for DX9 or eyefinity, try RadeonPro

    Intel's Iris Pro:

The only issue is it would be monstrous (ie. Titan die size for GTX660 level performance), cost more than anything Intel has ever sold commercially, probably use a significant amount of power, and have to rely on (improving, but shitty) intel drivers. Slice is not the right architecture to make...

[VC] AMD Radeon HD 9000 Series Launching in October?

Just about a month from today there may be a big event that you will be very interested in :p Specs are impressive, performance is based on clocks which aren't near final yet

    Intel's Iris Pro:

Why would it be more efficient? Look at Iris vs standard HD 4600. They threw TONS more resources at it and got an "okay" performance boost, ~2x the cores for ~1.75x the performance? Even with the ESRAM cache. Intel tried to make a big GPU and that ended up turning into Xeon Phi. Their Slice...

New AMD Drivers Coming July 31st

New crossfire tech which may be showing up with Hawaii, was almost released with Bonaire but the tech isn't quite there yet. Uses some kind of PCI-E transfer, without additional hardware I think (considering Bonaire supports it), can transfer extremely large frames (4k etc.) without using...

[VC] AMD Radeon HD 9000 Series Launching in October?

No idea about price, but based on the Titan, it's performance is worth that... still don't think it will be >$700. If it's 20nm, could be possible as AMD will be using expensive risk production silicon, if it's 28nm (which is very unlikely for Hawaii), it will likely be much much less.

[VC] AMD Radeon HD 9000 Series Launching in October?

Eh, kind of close. Tahiti will end up in there somewhere, Curacao is mostly beefed Pitcairn, it's more of "new configs" (ie. different silicon) with the same arch rather than just straight up rebranding like GTX770.

    Intel's Iris Pro:

That's the 5800k, not the 6800k. So the older fastest. Considering any Iris pro model costs $400+, I'm not sure why AMD should be concerned. For that price, you can have an i3/FX6300 and a 7950 and go around taking dumps on any iGP/APU.

New AMD Drivers Coming July 31st

TBH though, any game like Skyrim should be playing at extremely high FPS on any decent crossfire setup, and at 120+FPS even with runt frames it's still quite smooth... XDMA will use PCI-E, no more need for crossfire straps.
