Indeed! It is even more annoying when I connect my mouse briefly to another laptop to do a few things and within a few minutes I see the Alienware Command Center installed like what the heck, I just wanted to do a few things it's not even my computer.
Well if you have any Alienware product like a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor, it would install itself automatically even if you uninstall it, it would keep reinstalling itself unfortunately. I only use it once to set the lights but that's about it.
Tried HDR on every single OLED and Mini LED monitor that I owned before, it's horrible, colors look faded and washed out even after running the Windows Calibration tool from the Microsoft Store. Everytime I think let me give it a try, I watch some YouTube HDR videos and they look ok, but when I...
Do you mean that when viewing a 100% window the brightness decreases that much?? that is a show stopper. I know you can turn on uniform brightness but then the overall brightness is less which defeats the whole point of buying these expensive Mini LED monitors. I heard that the ASUS PG32UCDM has...
I tried it on my previous Samsung G60SD after watching a YouTube video of some dude who suggests soaking some paper towel and leaving it on the monitor for 4+ hours. First attempt, I couldn't find any edge to start peeling it off. Then I tried soaking it for longer with damp paper towels, tried...
I am in the same boat, see: Does a glossy mini-LED screen exist?
So far, the best mini LED monitor I tried is the Samsung Odyssey Neo Quantum Mini LED G85NB LS32BG850NUXXU 240hz, see: https://hardforum.com/threads/does-a-glossy-mini-led-screen-exist.2037688/post-1045985648
So I have a Calibrite Display Plus HL (CCDIS3PLHL) Colorimeter that I've used a few times and then just put it aside as I didn't like how the screen looked after the calibration, every time I removed the calibration I was like wow, this looks so much better. Strange, I know.
I put the...
Well I give up, I don't think that a glossy Mini-LED monitor exists (other than Apple which isn't available where I live and I am not to keen on buying a 5 year old monitor) so I bit the bullet and bought
Samsung Odyssey Neo Quantum Mini LED G85NB LS32BG850NUXXU 240hz monitor which is matte, I...
I know right, they never list the specs right, it's always the opposite from my experience, even after I contact the seller to inform them that the description is wrong, they never change it.
Although the Amazon description states that it's glossy, in this YouTube review, the guy says it's matte = https://youtu.be/n-KvQLYFTog?t=313
This review also states that the only bummer about this monitor is its matte coating = https://youtu.be/hT76gwDQ_RA?t=264
