I've scoured the net and I can't find any glossy mini-LED monitor, it there such a monitor or not yet?

The Apple Pro Display XDR is available with a glossy or nano-textured screen. It's almost 5 years old at this point though and hasn't dropped in price over the years.

I think the Dough Spectrum is about the only glossy option out there, but it has a very dated local dimming setup by today's standards.

Dough also has a very very bad reputation for supplying product, supplying products which work, and then supporting you as a customer. And if you do get support, don't expect a replacement anyyyyyyy tiiiiiiiime sooooooon.

Well I give up, I don't think that a glossy Mini-LED monitor exists (other than Apple which isn't available where I live and I am not to keen on buying a 5 year old monitor) so I bit the bullet and bought

Samsung Odyssey Neo Quantum Mini LED G85NB LS32BG850NUXXU 240hz monitor which is matte, I will give it a try and if I'm not too happy with the matte coating I'll just return it and keep my current ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG. If anyone is wondering why I am switching from the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG, it's because text rendering is horrible on this monitor and I am tired of having to baby the monitor and set my taskbar to autohide to prevent burn-in.

Agreed! While I know they are trying to fix their bad reputation, they do sell their products at brick and mortar shops like Best Buy that if you have any issues with your purchase, you can tell with them instead of Dough. I've asked on their Reddit forums several times if they plan on updating their mini led from its current edge lit design to a FALD zone display, and unfortunately they keep deleting my posts there.

Let me know what you think! I'm in the same boat wanting to upgrade from 2k to 4k and having zero luck finding something that is available in North America that meets my needs. I had been eyeing the Neo G8 for a while, but all the posts from users complaining about scanlines scared me away, and I didn't want to have to limit my 240hz display to 165 to avoid having them crop up. Fingers crossed you get one of the good panels that this isn't as pronounced.

OMG, I am blown away!! First, let me preface this by saying that I have been buying OLED monitors from Alienware, Samsung, and ASUS for the past 2-3 years. The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG is the last one that I bought and have been using up until now while it is super nice with vivid colors and deep blacks, it was great for gaming or watching movies but for productivity, it was the worst of the OLED monitors for rendering text. Text fringing was so apparent compared to other OLED monitors and ASUS' Clear Pixel Edge feature which is supposed to improve text fringing adds a bit of blur to the text where text looks better with that feature turned off. I was tired of having to worry about burn-in all the time also and being forced to set my taskbar to auto-hide which I don't like but I did want a glossy screen as they have slightly better sharpness and more vibrant colors. Well after giving up on finding a glossy Mini LED monitor I got this Samsung Odyssey G8 S32BG850NM Quantum Mini-LED 4K 240hz Monitor and fell in love with it from the first few minutes.

Text clarity is superb, off course, it would be jumping from a 2K to 4K monitor and better PPI of 108 to 137 and no text fringing it's such a relief!

I watched some 4K videos on YouTube and I was simply blown away, everything looked super sharp and rich in color I almost felt I could touch whatever I was seeing.

The first thing I did was update the firmware to 1011.3 before playing with any of the settings.

Now, the most important thing, the matte coating, this is probably one of the best matte coatings I have seen, it doesn't have that dirty/grainy effect that I normally see on matte screens, and the insane brightness of the monitor helps a lot to make everything pop and looks super clear and vivid.

That's great to hear! How do the blacks compare to your OLED's? Being a VA panel, and having the local dimming I have read the black levels are supposed to be quite good. Never having had a curved panel, I wonder if it is something I could get used to?

isn't miniled, are normal led 576zone fald

Yes, it's a mini-led display with 576 zones, it's not a micro-led display. At the time of its release, it was an impressive 6k screen that still doesn't have a good competitor if that's what you are looking for.

isn't miniled lol, see specs on official site

I can relate to this in a sense, because once you go glossy panel it's hard to go back. I got an IPS UW monitor for one of my setups, and it is a very good looking monitor but, it still doesn't even compare to the glossy oled.

VERY close, if I hadn't known this is a mini LED screen, I would've thought it's an OLED on steroids with its insane brightness and color vibrancy

It is sp annoying, I will get my DOUGH today, ordered maybe a week ago. I wish they had more in Glossy. I could have sworn DOUGH had a MiniLED, can't find it mow...
