Question about colorimeters

So I have a Calibrite Display Plus HL (CCDIS3PLHL) Colorimeter that I've used a few times and then just put it aside as I didn't like how the screen looked after the calibration, every time I removed the calibration I was like wow, this looks so much better. Strange, I know.

I put the colorimeter for sale but got 0 inquiries so I'm thinking of giving it another shot.

The best color profile from the built in profiles in my Samsung Neo Odyssey G8 Mini-LED Monitor is the Cinema profile, my question is, do you think I should create multiple calibrations with the colorimeter, one for every profile and switch between them as I switch profiles from my monitor's OSD or just do 1 calibration while in my favorite color profile (Cinema) and do 1 calibration using the coliremeter and keep that same calibration as I switch profiles from the monitor's OSD?

You can set your own color profile, white point, and brightness targets in the calibration software. Since you like the cinema profile it sounds as if you like a brighter, warmer, more saturated screen than what 6500K sRGB 150 cd/m² provides. Aim for something more like 6200K in Adobe RGB or Rec.2020 with a target brightness of 250-300 cd/m². You can certainly create multiple profiles and find one that you like.

^^ You want you monitor settings to be as neutral as possible, and your OS graphics settings to be set up as how you'll be using it, then take the calibration.
