Fry's appears to be selling the i5 6400 for $139 today with a promo code. Wondering if it would be a good placeholder until a Kaby Lake i7 is available.

I actually don't have many limitations that would prevent me from switching. I wouldn't switch the OS on my main PC. I would like to get back to working with Linux more extensively.

It will be anyone's guess what their Zen lineup will cost. I have already seen OEM systems from HP with the ZEN APU installed online.
