Worth upgrading?

With the upcoming Intel Kaby Lake and AMD Zen in a few months, is it worth upgrading from an Intel Haswell processor to SIlverlake?

No but there will be a new chipset and z270 boards. Kaby Lake will work in current Z170 boards with a bios update.

BTW, Late next year (possibly slipping into 2018) there will also be a 4C / 8T Kaby Lake -X processor that will be for a different socket. The mainstream Kaby Lake processors will be compatible with Z170 however.
