Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi,
This was originally going to be a help request, but I've resolved the problem.
If you have an older monitor (for example HP 2025) that supports both Digital and Analog DVI, and your computer refuses to use it in digital mode, look at your cable - if there's a flat blade with 4 pins around...
Well, I would still say it's probably hardware...There's not much else to do in troubleshooting, and probably you just got a dud, if it's a brand new card. It happens, unfortunately, however rare. I wouldn't waste too much time in starting the RMA process...
I assume you've idiot checked...
Most ram, these days, will handle CR1, so use that. If you run into any stability issues, switch it back, but otherwise, it will give a small increase in performance. Wont hurt anything if it doesn't work :)
You could probably piece something together from thrift shops, to be honest... Even doing it brand new would be cheap, if you're piecing something together...Just need an amp with enough power and outputs (see below), mic, speakers and plenty of speaker wire. If you know how to hook up speakers...
