I need help getting a 24" monitor. After doing a lot of research I ended up trying out the Gateway 2400, after returning several of them due to the BLB issue and dead pixels, I tried out a Samsung T240, which I have now found out does not have 1:1 scaling for a PS3. I'm looking for a 24" monitor...
I'm also interested in what the lack of scaler means for the 2401. From what I understand it only comes into play when the image is being upscaled, but if you have a good upscaler from where the source is coming from then doesnt a lack of scaler in the monitor not matter?
Ill check out the PSU as well, but I may have fixed it. Apparently my ram was set at 1.5v when it should have been 1.7. Would that have been a possible cause (seeing as its fixed, but it may just be something else, wanted to confirm)
So I picked the 790i up about a month ago for a new computer. Have been having a few issues but I've resolved all of them so far. Currently, the computer won't always start up. If I hit the power button, the fans spin up but that confirmation startup beep won't occur. I have to power the system...
How is the Black Light Bleed on yours? It sounds like you've had it for a while, would be interesting to find out if the progressive BLB isnt affecting you.
Was the FHD with BLB problems the latest revision from march? Some posts talked about how they werent having the BLB problem but no one has posted results after a few weeks of use.
Right, but its already been established that a very, very low brightness can still damage your monitor very, very slowly. Im asking the the people who have the latest version from March (I think it was) if their panels are suffering the progressive BLB issue.
So Ive had my Pico ITX for a few months now and have used it for very basic functions. Just tried watching flash video/you tube etc on it and its actually very laggy. From my understanding it should be able to handle this no problems. Im running XP with the latest drivers. Anyone know what might...
Any updates from those of you that have the latest version regarding BLB? Its been a few weeks now, is the BLB finally creeping in or have they actually fixed the problem?
