I always recommend Seasonic. When people buy something else I tell them they bought the recently restored Datsun Brat when I recommended the Bentley or the Maybach of power supplies. After that, they always buckle down and get the Seasonic. 100% Customer Satisfaction.
it depends on your human biology. with me i can get to about 75-78% on most games before i start feeling queasy. for my wife we're lucky if she gets to 25%
with movies i can max it out and leaning back which provides me a few more inches does increase the experience
rgr, Matte....I still have mine. I guess it all depends on how far you sit from your monitor/s to say how good it looks. I'm about 24-30" away and no one sitting with me has complained about it, with the exception of the 3d being turned up too high.
its the nvidia onboard raid that's been extremely kind to me over the past 8 or 9 years (since the 570 boards first came out). I went from a asus570 to a msi980 board, plugged in and raid was fine...
i suppose i'll give it a shot and hope for the best.
Currently I have r5 with 5 320g's I am wondering if I am able to hot swap the 320's out for 1 or 2tb drives, essentially slowly upgrading the total drive space.
thanks
yeah, I have one. I was looking to see if there was any updates or anything, but The closest i could find was the HL sans 3d. and no mention of the package on acer's site. everywhere i saw them they were sold out or discontinued. heck, if someone wants this one i'd sell it to them for $720 no...
ahhh, getData back i have used that in the past. Segates seatools worked the best for me in the past, but I think the only copy I had is on the r5.
recuva stopped at 52% and 237226 files +/- 10% recovered. There's 330+ gigs left on the destination drive. not sure why but it looks like I'll...
ok, i'll waive my fears for now. kinda raised an eyebrow, especially after reading that 'horror' thread on this forum about this mobo popping and frying.
thanks!!
so folks, i got this new setup, installed windows, doing a raid recovery...etc...

sooooo anyone know what those values are from? there's no way i can attempt an OC if that temp if 200+...
raid was rebuilt fine, even started up to the windows loading screen. then it got worse, MBR shot, partition disappeared. now i'm using 'RECUVA' to try and get my kids pics back under penalty of doghouse/death.
yeah i tried the repair option for the win7 32b i have. says it repaired one issue and nothing happens on reboot. i'll have to wait till i get home to check the issue/fix it says it found/did. Figure after 5pm est. for a reply.
yes, yes i am.....now. raid rebuilt fine, just can't get into the OS. just finished installing an OS on another older raptor drive. however, it's paltry 36g will not hold the tb of data i have there. what do you recommend?
anyone know, or have an idea if the raid controller from the NF980-G65 will read the raid5 set I have on the M2N-SLI board?
M2N board is completely dead with no hope of recovery, so it's either buy the same board and hope for the best, or upgrade....which its obvious I need.
