so folks, i got this new setup, installed windows, doing a raid recovery...etc...

6gb crucial mem
1055t w/ v10 cooler
nf980-G65 mobo

TMPIN0,1,2 read
0 - 34c
1 - 96c
2 - 36c

sooooo anyone know what those values are from? there's no way i can attempt an OC if that temp if 200+ degrees fahrenheit.

i cant really find much of anything on it....
 
It's grouped under the motherboard, so apparently some temp sensor on the motherboard. However it may not be a correct temp reading.
 
Don't trust temp 1, it is always 90+ for me also. I can overclock to 3.8ghz safely with a 1090T, haven't tried anything higher though. The mosfets get kinda hot (temp0), so I would concentrate more on temp0.
 
ok, i'll waive my fears for now. kinda raised an eyebrow, especially after reading that 'horror' thread on this forum about this mobo popping and frying.
