Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the input, tried to pick up a second card from Frys but they were out of stock. Trying to buy local since I want to see how loud SLI is in case I want an easy return, lol.
I did use a PSU calculator, but I'd like to get some outside opinions on this.

I've been running my Q6600 at 3GHZ stock voltage for 2.5 years now. I do use a Thermalright Ultra-120 True Black with a 49cfm Scythe fan (very quiet), but it's the easiest overclock I've ever done and runs 4 instances of prime95 for 24 hours with no errors. You should be able to get 3GHZ...
I averaged 247ms. I am on a 3007wfp-hc and a wireless mouse (mx revolution). Not sure if that makes a difference.
The more I try it the lower I can get. Just averaged 209ms.
The brightness you prefer your monitor at will depend on how bright the room you use it in is, and how sensitive you are to bright light. In college I would run the samsung 193p I had at the time at 60-80% brightness in my apartment. But at home 30-50% was as bright as I could handle.
I run...
I had an NEC 20WMGX^2 for a month or so. A few of them actually since they all had varying defects that I couldn't get over. At the end of the day the biggest problem was the insanely small size. Ended up settling on a 2407WFP for a couple of years as it had an excellent quality/size ratio...
I have an 8G Elite 50"er (1150HD). I didn't consider the 9G models worth the cost of upgrading after only a year, and now my dreams of a 10G model are dashed. This is so horrible. Pioneer plasmas are gorgeous sets. I can only hope panasonic releases an ECC display in the next year. But...
He either sits far or has worse than 20/20 vision. I'm fairly close to my 3007, and text is perfect if I have my glasses on. With my contacts it depends on how dried out they are. My guess for my seating distance (eyes to screen) is 2.5-3ft depending on the position of my chair (how far I'm...
I don't really find the coating to be objectionable at all. It is more pronounced on my 3007WFP-HC (2nd one came with no pixel issues, huzzah!) than on my 2407WFP, but not a big deal. For some reason it looks the same on every ips based monitor I've ever seen. Whether it be an Apple, NEC...
My brother has a 28 Hannspree. It would be unusable if I didn't calibrate both in the monitor and in software with my i1 display lt. It has less backlight bleed than my 3007WFP. Though way more than my 2407WFP which has none. It's very nice for the money if you have the tools to set it up...
For 2200 you could get a Samsung 52A650/750 or a Sony 52XBR6/W4100 if you look in the right places.
You will still have issues with backlight bleed, motion blur, and narrow viewing angles.
If you liked the uncalibrated atrocious color of the 3008WFP, then a TV should look fine in the awful...
Damn. My step-up period ended yesterday and I forget to get the 285 or 295. I paid 440 for my 280 so if they took the invoice price it would have no cost me much for the 295 :(. Oh well.

I like that psu calculator. It should tell you if your psu is good enough.
I actually replaced my asus maximus formula with the GB P45-DS4P. Not sure if that was a downgrade, but the maximus formula was very unstable for me. Though it got much...
In a dark room the glossy lcds don't have blacker blacks than any other equivalent lcd. For example, the samsung 71 series isn't any better at producing black in a dark room than the sony xbr4 series is.
