    When you run it in windowed mode, can you change the resolution in video options? I would guess that it would resize the window as you increase the resolution.

    I'd guess that you may have a bad cd or even a bad cd drive. Try starting up while holding D. I think that the hardware test. After I get to the blue screen, in about a minute, it'll ask me to choose a language.

    How long have you let it sit at the blue screen? iirc, it may take a few minutes for everything to load.

    To automatically select everything in the address bar with one click, you need to edit the about:config Click the address bar and go to about:config, then look for browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll and toggle it so it says true.
