I'm trying to replace the stock fan on my Cooler Master Hyper 212, but I can't figure out how to remove the mounting bracket on the stock fan so I can put it on the replacement.
Has anyone here done this before? I'd appreciate any help.
Wow, thanks for all the replies everyone! I see most people are saying the Bulldozer isn't great for gaming and that does not sit well with me. Looks like I'm sending this motherboard back and going with an Intel 2500k. Thanks for the info guys.
Also, if I do get an Intel cpu, can you guys recommend a cheapish motherboard? I don't plan on cross firing or SLI so it wouldn't have to have more than one pci express slot.
Right now I have an AMD Phenom II x4 970 @ 3.5ghz and I just returned my two HD 6950s because I had bad micro stuttering in my games. I now plan on ordering a single GTX 580 just so I don't have to worry about multi gpu problems.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a Gigabyte 990fx-ud3 mobo...
I have two 6950 2gb right now and they are awesome, but I was wondering if it would be worth it to add another 6950 later on. I have a good motherboard and 1050w power supply. How many frames would I gain while playing on 1920x1200 resolution?
I've been building computers for five years, but I've never overclocked anything before because I am too scared of ruining my components. But now that Battlefield 3 is almost here, I'm thinking about giving it a shot.
I was talking to my computer wiz friend and he said I should definitely...
Yeah I know $110 is cheap already, but I'm not worried about overclocking potential. I've been looking at cheap motherboards with two pci express slots and almost all of them have one x16 lane and one x4 lane. Is that something to worry about?
