Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I also switched from 57" g9 to this. Although I am happy with the switch, I am extremely missing the vibrant bright hdr scenes from the 57" g9.
The dimming on the oleds can be a bit saddening.
Hey fellas, wondering if anyone knows if my current PSU which is an Evga Supernova P2 1000W, is fine for my system once my RTX 5090 arrives?
My system specs currently are:
14900K @ 253W limit
Asus Z690 Strix E
2x 16GB DDR5 @ 1.41v 6800MHz
1x 1TB SSD Samsung 990 Pro
1x 4TB SATA HDD

God damm i cant imagine what the price of some of these AIB cards are going to be. Here in Australia, the FE 5090 will be $4100 AU, im guessing the Astral LC will be like $5K AU!!!!
Far out!! Wtf happend to GPU pricing!
UPDATE:
I take this back, unfortunately the stuttering, lag and much lower fps has returned :(
I have no idea why it has suddenly returned and now I am at a loss. Apologies everyone, my idea here did not work.
I seem to have the same temps as before.
Yes, with MCE disabled enforce all limits my PUBG performance is buttery smooth, lag free. I actually enjoy it considerably more.
Before, I knew something wasn't rite hence what prompted me to investigate and try new settings with my PC.
Its incredible...
I can't believe how much of an impact there is in PUBG when I switched in BIOS, the ASUS MCE option from AUTO - Let BIOS optimise to disabled - enforce all limits!
14900K | RTX 4090 TUF OC
This is my result in PUBG @ 1440p:
AUTO - Let BIOS Optimise
avg fps 250-350
Lots of micro stuttering...
Yes I am learning all this now. 24.5" 1080p is just a blurry mess on these 27" 1440p oleds. I would have to use the internal 2368x1332 resolution the 24.5" defaults to if I want a clear image in 24.5" mode.
But then I have another problem in 24.5" mode.
I play PUBG stretched previously on other...
Thanks for the response guys.
I suppose you are all rite. Most likely not worth the switch. Plus the 5090 is around the corner, im sure that will help tremendously!
Is anyone able to guide me here please?
I have a 14900K, and was wondering if I should upgrade to the 9800X3D?
I mainly play competitive fps games like pubg @ 1440p, and I am always looking for maximum fps possible on my 480Hz OLED monitor using a RTX 4090 OC.
But I am unsure if the upgrade...
