I can't believe how much of an impact there is in PUBG when I switched in BIOS, the ASUS MCE option from AUTO - Let BIOS optimise to disabled - enforce all limits!

14900K | RTX 4090 TUF OC

This is my result in PUBG @ 1440p:

AUTO - Let BIOS Optimise
avg fps 250-350
Lots of micro stuttering
Slight input lag can be felt

Disabled - enforce All Limits
avg fps 350-450
No micro stuttering
Instant input response!

I can't believe a small option like that has such a massive impact on my system! I honestly thought I am playing the game on a brand new PC.

UPDATE:
I take this back, unfortunately the stuttering, lag and much lower fps has returned

I have no idea why it has suddenly returned and now I am at a loss. Apologies everyone, my idea here did not work.

theres been talk of the core enhancements being bad for temps but idnk it affected fps like that. nice.

I seem to have the same temps as before.

Yes, with MCE disabled enforce all limits my PUBG performance is buttery smooth, lag free. I actually enjoy it considerably more.

Before, I knew something wasn't rite hence what prompted me to investigate and try new settings with my PC.

Its incredible how much of a difference it was for me.
