Lower framerates at higher clock speeds?

lol kieth, I have no options for messing with the voltage. Sirfragalot, I already have the latest drivers from Nvidia, the MSI panel remains even in the new drivers.

Lower framerates at higher clock speeds?

Well my motherboard doesn't let me adjust voltage settings  So better cooling would boost framerates?

Lower framerates at higher clock speeds?

Well I've been tampering with the clock speeds on my Geforce FX 5600....I get lower framerates at higher clock speeds? See the screenshots below. Normal clock speed: Just a bit higher: 5 steps or so higher:

    N00b stuff

I'll give that a try and see how it goes, I only recently got coolbits so I was never able to try it at 1 mhz increments.

    The screw...thing?

This HP case is the worst case Ive ever used, it has a 120mm fan...that runs at 1500 rpm, the average case temp is maybe 85 degrees average....Just plain not good :P I got my hands on a much better case so I'll probably be migrating to that.

    The screw...thing?

There wouldn't be enough space to stick a cd in there, the drive bays are almost right over it, you can see some of them in the picture. The hacksaw blade might just work, but then there's the msytery of what kind of screw it is...Is it like a normal screw where you just turn it and it comes...

    The screw...thing?

 I'd say the powerdrill would be my last resort...Do you guys think that grinded down screwdriver might work just as well?

    N00b stuff

Just to clarify what the problem is here are screenshots from the happenings in lineage 2 before and after the overclock. Before (normal): After: Note that the textures, or green line box things, (don't know how else to call them) are always moving. Similiar things happen with...

    The screw...thing?

I'm trying to take out my HP motherboard, and I came across the strangest thing...I was able to remove all the screws and was getting ready to remove the board, when I noticed it was still being held on by a very odd sort of screw in the corner of the board. Any ideas on how to remove this...

    N00b stuff

I've tried the MSI eXperience program that overclocks the card, the MSI overclocking options (Display properties -> MSI Clock) and Coolbits. And I've tried several settings, I'm just afraid to completely bust this card. I'm just trying to get whatever extra performance out of it that I can.

    Is this possible?

Well I've heard some wierd rumors about replacing those kind of parts in a brand machine (hp, dell) and the computer not functioning afterwards  I never really believed them but it wouldn't hurt to ask, eh?

    Is this possible?

I have an HP Pavilon and was wondering if it's possible to take out the motherboard and replace it without hassle. Has anyone tried this? I'm getting seriously pissed (excuse that) at the limits they put on this thing...
