    Ok, checked the cable, one pin is slightly lower than the rest. Also if I plug it into the other DVI output the problems disappears.

    OCCT doesn't work (maybe win7 64?) FURMARK is 100%. It looks like a driver issue to me.

    Just replaced a 4870 that I had with the 5770 and also put the Dell 3007WFP-HC power+usb+dvi cables into one of those cable pipes 1/2" thick.

    Great. Thanks for the help. I got the 4870 because I found a deal I couldn't pass up. I'm going to keep the 4870 and try to get rid of the 4850. I'll do this for now and try to get something more decent when prices start coming down.

    Ok, I have the 4870 and a 4850 (got it cheaply). I'll keep the 4870 in the machine and wait for a good deal on a 4890 and then get rid of the 4870. Or should I go straight up to 5xxx? I'll also keep a lookout for a GTX card.
