I'm not much a fan of the glossy displays. Is there a non-glossy display as good as the G245h within my price range?
I'm a fan of Samsung and am looking at the p2350-1 and BX2335.
The u2311h looks like a great display, but I'd like a response time better than 8ms. I'm willing to settle for a TN display in order to get a great response time. Any suggestions for the $200-$250 price range?
I'm looking for a good gaming display in the $200-$250 price range. I had decided on the LG W2361V, only to find that it had been discontinued! Any suggestions for a display of comparable quality? The acer VH236H perhaps?
Ooooh, I just though of a potential solution... a HDMI-to-DVI converter. I've seem them for around $10. My only concern is, would I see a loss in video quality due to the conversion?
I'm looking for a decent 1920x1080 gaming display with a $250 budget. I'd like one with good HDMI performance in case I decide to connect a console or Blu-Ray player, but a lot of the displays I've looked at have reported HDMI performance issues.
Any suggestions?
I've considered the U2410, but don't like it's glossy surface. Right now I'm leaning towards the ZR24w, although I'm a bit scared about the slower response time. As an IPS I'm sure it looks amazing, but reviews have been mixed as to whether it can function as a respectable gaming monitor with...
I'm looking for a new monitor and insist on getting a nice 16:10 1920x1200 display and will be using it for some gaming. Those new-fangled 16:9 displays just look freaky as that aspect ratio has a squished feeling! The only problem is that the 1920x1200 displays are rare these days and seem...
I'm trying to decide between the following two displays:
Samsung P2570HD (4ms, 25")
Samsung XL2370 (2ms, 23", LED BACKLIT)
Both displays are around $300. I'm interested in something good for both work and gaming. The XL2370 looks tempting with it's 2ms response time and LED...
I'm in the market for a nice 16:10 monitor, and the ZR24w looks like a real winner from what I've gathered. My only concern is that the consensus seems to be that the ideal settings for this monitor place BRIGHTNESS down to almost zero in order to get better black levels.
Wouldn't this make...
I have a 300w power supply and want to add an extra optical drive. Will this be too much for the power supply? Here's my current system specs (before the addition of the drive):
AMD Athelon64 3500+
1GB ram
1 hard drive
1 optical drive
1 media card reader
256 MB ATI Radeon X700 Pro video...
I currently have a MicroStar 6153 motherboard. The documentation at http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=109 lists the dimensions as: "30.5 cm(L) x 19.2 cm(W) ATX Form Factor", which is about 11.8in x 7.56in. I'm not sure how to tell what kind of base I...
