so ive played bf3 clocked at 333 it stutters no end,when i drop it to 266 which is it stock clock plays fine so im doing something wrong??

i spent hours an hours in bios on the old p5n-e sli trying to overclock it but it just refused i think i got it to around 2.7ghz ,took 60 secs on oc tuner.im just thinking is it too good to be true lol

Thanks hydro ive took it up to 3ghz without altering anything else i did push the pcie up to 104 not sure why i did that! but if wanted to push it further i reacon id have to alter voltages an such!thats where ill get a little lost my temps are good on core temp got a resonable akasa cpu cooler...

seems to running like a dream compared to how it was before an its taking on bf3 resonably any input of any sort would be brilliant i know its a little old but i like to squeeze a bit of lif out of these things cheers

Hi folks merry xmas to you all hope you all had a good one! Ive upgraded an old system to have a spare in the kids room it did have an old ddr2 p5n-e sli board so i changed it out for an asrock ddr3 banged 8gb of g-skill in it an used the asrock oc tuner just to take it up to roughly 3ghz...
