Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It appears I've resolved my stability issues... my new Corsair TX950W power supply was the culprit! I didn't really think this was the issue at first but when I exhausted pretty much every other option I figured it was worth trying a different PSU. I installed a temporary power supply which...
After some more testing it appears I may have an issue with the motherboard itself.
I decided to set my system totally stock and run Prime95 overnight... I checked about 7 hours later and my system was completely frozen and non responsive... I had to hard reboot.
I checked my PSU rails...
Hi All,
I haven't posted in a LONG time so I'm happy to be back! I'm probably beating a dead horse here but I'm having some major stability issues since updating my mobo's BIOS to 0902. Previously, I used BIOS 0701 to OC my system to 3.4ghz with no issues... however, ever since updating my...
Yeah, I'm having the same problem as mentioned above.... I have 5x SATA devices in total. Ports 1 & 2 have hard drives (OS drive and random storage drive) and I have my DVDRW in port 3. Ports 4 & 5 have 2x300gb hdds which I would like to create a RAID1 array... however, when I enable RAID within...
I have finally figured it out, my RAM kept crapping out at 2.8v so I dropped it down to 2.7 and I can now run stable. The funny thing is, my 148 ran just fine with my RAM at 2.8 so this was kind of odd. Anyways, thanks for the suggestion but all is good now!
I've tried increasing and decreasing all voltages on the mobo to no avail. My BIOS is up to date and my temps are all good. I'm not sure what it could be.
Hey guys,
I'm having some major issues getting my Opteron 170 to stabilize at any decent speed since Super PI and Prime95 both fail constantly within minutes. I just received my new Opty 170 and swapped it with my previous CPU which was a Opty 148. The 148 could easily run at 2.8ghz (255x11)...
Thanks for the info guys. My PC is stable and what not (Prime 95 stable for 24 hours) so their is no cause for concern. I was just wondering if there was a simple way to fix the boot up issue but no biggie since I have been reading the DFI street forums and this problem seems quite rampant.
Hey guys, I was wondering if ya'll would have any idea to this strange problem that I have not been able to pinpoint. I believe the problem I am having has to do with my Seasonic 600w PSU (revision A02) and my DFI Lanparty Expert NF4 mobo. Anyhow, the problem is that when I attempt to power up...
I consider myself to be quite good with networking, but I have stumbled across a problem which is starting to bother me. Basically what is happening is when I play any kind of video stream from any given site on the net, my internet connection drops and the only way to revive it is a power cycle...
Hey guys, as you can see by my rig I got pretty decent hardware as well as a new X-Fi sound card. The question that I've been asking myself is; is it worth going from my current Logitech Z560 4.1s to the newer Z5500s? The price on the Z5500s is decent so the only thing I'm trying to justify is...
