Yeah, I checked the official forums and all over google. There are only forums about wireless headsets not working or controllers that are eventually fixed. Sigh, I guess its gonna have to be a 3 man halo tournament and not a 4 man. :(

So I called the same futureshop that said they'd get more in a day or two, only today they said not for a MONTH! WTF?!?!?! If anyone has a straight answers (or a buddy who works in a futureshop or other big name retailer) it'd be much appreciated.

It's not always about the launch title. I myself am getting a Wii for only one launch title, Zelda. The only other games I intend to buy for it are coming much later, like in 2008. I'd just much rather deal with getting one now then try and fight the Christmas rushes and what not.
