I have a 360 with one controller, I am at a party with 3 other controllers. Two controllers synced perfectly with the 360, but one doesn't. The circle around the xbox logo just blinks, then I push the sync button on the 360 face and then the one on the controller, but they dont recognize each other. I heard that there can be interference from other wireless devices and phones, but I moved the xbox to a whole different room and it still won't sync. Does anybody have any solutions?

you might not be pushing the button on the controller hard enough. That little sync button needs a fairly stout squeeze, after all.

I push and hold the button till it starts to circle the xbox logo, stil doesnt get recognized.

Hmm, dunno! Have you checked out the FAQ or support site at the Xbox website? I've never had an issue with my controllers. System, yes, controllers, no :D

Yeah, I checked the official forums and all over google. There are only forums about wireless headsets not working or controllers that are eventually fixed. Sigh, I guess its gonna have to be a 3 man halo tournament and not a 4 man. :(

Seriously anyone know what the problem is, because 3 other controllers sync and work perfectly but not this one. Is it just a busted controller, or is it a hardware issue. My buddy says it works fine on his console at home, but not when he tries to sync it to mine. Any help would be much appreciated.

Same thing happened with mine. I have a 360 in my room and there is another one at the other side of the house. I tried syncing with that one and it just wouldn't do it.

Pisses me off....

The channel the wireless controller is using has to change. Hit the connect button on TOP of the controller, (little WHITE button next to the charging port), and then hit the little white button the console next to the expansion ports so they can sync channels, and you should be good to go.
