Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
but video chat is going to be solely on WiFi for the rest of the year. also, streaming netflix over 3g would suck. another item to be used over wifi. neither of which would affect 3g data.
i've unlocked my 720BE at stock voltage, and pushed it to 3.4GHz on stock voltage, but when i go to change voltages, it says "system voltage not optimized" in the bios. i'm on a gigabyte ma770t-ud3p mobo. should i just do it anyway even not optimized?
well i have a similar question... the hdd i bought was advertised as a 1TB drive, but when i open the properties of my c: drive, its only 128GB. whats up with that?
well if thats the case i'll just do what my friend suggested. i bought a 25' patch cable from newegg, and i'll just run that between my router and my switch in the basement.
okay, got the new plate today, and wired it up the same way as the other end, but i'm still getting an intermittent signal. :(
so i plugged my laptop directly into the new modem, and it worked, so i've come to the conclusion that the problem lies in the cat5e cable i ran through the wall...
This is the first time i've run or spliced cat5e cable, and i'm having a bit of an issue. i've created two jack ends for a patch cable to run through the walls, and only one of the plates i got had a keystone jack on it. the other had a plate with screws and wires running from the screws leading...
Not sure if this is where this can go, but here goes. I need a desk to put my computer on/under. I've been working with a notebook for the last 5 years, and have been using one of those folding tables whose legs go under the couch... lazy me. i don't have too much space to work with... maybe a...
unfortunately my tv is a 32" samsung that displays at 720p, so i'll probably watch blu-ray's on my monitor, but i think you guys have solidified my decision. Asus it is.
Arite guys, the monitor is the last piece of the puzzle. i stumbled across the ASUS VW266H on my own, but a friend suggested the Acer P235Hbmid. Is the higher native resolution worth the extra hundred bucks approximately? I've got an HD5850, and will be playing crysis, aion, and will also have...
thanks danny, and i do apologize for fumbling around for the last few days. this is my first build, and i'm one of those guys who just hates getting something second-rate when i could've spent a little bit more and gotten more performance out of it.
that PSU has no sata connections it seems...
sorry figured it'd be along the same lines? since i'll also be doing light gaming.
will be running a phenom II x3 720, probably overclocking it, seen it is stable at 3.7, which is 900mhz above stock, 1 sata drive, either 4 or 8GB of ddr3 1600, inside an antec 300 illusion, with 4 case fans and...
