I have a Gateway Model GT5678 - not long ago it started going a little crazy. The pc, regardless of what I was doing, would get really loud for about 5 seconds and then boom - hard restart. Now, note, that if I just leave it alone and dont touch it, at random times it will do rolling restarts...
