Ok, First off here are the circumstances -
1 x Laptop
1 x PC with the cable connection and two ethernet cards
Both are running vista

Ive managed to get both pc's to see each other and Ive enable internet sharing on the second network but I cant get the laptop to gain the internet part of the network. I can see its harddrive and swap files but just cant get the internet part to work. Sorry, this isnt the best explanation but Ill be monitoring this constantly so I can answer any questions =D

Thx guys/gals!

On the desktop
1. Open the Network and Sharing Center
2. Click Manage Network Connections
3. Left click and drag a box over BOTH Ethernet cards and click bridge connections

See if that works. Worst case scenario it wont and you'll just have to delete the network bridge. You're really better off with a router of some kind.

Yea it didnt work - thx tho. I would get a router but money is WAY too tight right now. I gotta make this work! =D
