then burn iso or usb clean install of 10. i hear that 10 has a lot more driver support built and and one good part is it made mobo manufacturers get off their ass and update mobos not just the last release.
Theres .Net framework 4.5,
4.5.1
4.5.2
and
4.6 RC
Which one is best for install after u install the OS? And does anything change if ur installing win10?
Thanks
thanks guys the irony is i have z97 and there are more new drivers from mobo site for 10
then there has been for others for 2 yrs, and i dont have 8-8.1 so i must do clean install and only option is 10 or 7
If you had to do a fresh install would you go with win 7,8/8.1 or win 10?
Do you guys think its safe enough or wait for a SP1? generally the ppl that waited
were the ones more rewarded with a safer more stable os then the ppl who jumped in on the release date. Dunno if MSFT changed that and...
How should one approach updating drivers for their motherboard (basically all of the vital drivers that come with the MOBO on CD/DVD for audio, INF, LAN, Management Engine, SATA and USB)
How do you learn which ones need to be updated/upgraded and what is the best way to do so?
yeah that seems to work better, the software intel issues for upgrades does not work as its not "intel" MOBO. They make is easier to get z87 but 97 is torture. thx
yeah i recall writing "asrocks site is useless unless your looking for outdated drivers." has not changed since yestarday, hope it does when 10 comes around.
For my Z97 Extreme6 like like INF Chipset driver which are v10.0.21, then the INTC Management Engine v10.0.30.1054, LAN v19.0.27.0 and lastly USB 3 v3.0.1.41
All are for win 7 x64 home premium. EACH and everyone has a newer versions released. For some reason its much easier to find z87...
Basically I have an ARC Midi R2 and an Asrock extreme6 MOBO. It came with its own self control 5-7-12v fan controller. I'm looking for a setup that is more controlled by the needs of the hardware. I no longer have any free 5.25. I was thinking of getting 2 140mm in the front one 120mm on the...
I need to find out which is the best way to go to setup a minimum of 4 fan controller setup and which technology type should I use.
Unfortunately I'm not well versed on this topic so I want to get a fractal design midi R2 case...
I'm looking to get Minimum of 4 fans (2 main 140 mm side by side with a large 100 CFPM+ no problem) the front 2 to move a lot of air flow, so that I can create a nice over pressure in the R2 Midi case. Need 3 140mm and one 120mm may be able to squeeze in a 125mm if I can with a PSU at 180mm it...
Basically looking for memory for asrock z97 extreme 6. Would like something that OC about 10%. I'm thinking 8GB should be enough but 2x4 would allow me to get 8 more if ever needed. w/some head room and up to $200 total. I guess best way to ask is what is the most bang for the buck for $200?
Thx
