Whats is the best version .Net to install on Clean Install of win 7

Theres .Net framework 4.5,
4.5.1
4.5.2
and
4.6 RC

Which one is best for install after u install the OS? And does anything change if ur installing win10?

"All of the .NET Framework versions listed in the following table are in-place updates to the .NET Framework 4; in other words, if you install a later, such as the .NET Framework 4.6, you do not first have to install the previous versions, such as the .NET Framework 4.5, 4.5.1, or 4.5.2."

That being said, I'm not certain that you won't run into .NET apps that will insist that you install their own particular version of .NET whether or not you have a later updated version installed.
 
during a clean install of Windows 7, Windows Updates installs 4.5, 4.5.1 and 4.5.2 as one update...it also installs 3.5.1 which is strange since I thought 4.5 would overwrite it
 
3.5 covers everything below that. 4.5.2 will cover 4.0 ->4.5.2. Once 4.6 goes GM you can remove 4.5.2 and switch to 4.6.
