    I think I figured it out, I just deleted the array and started again, this time the drive showed up as one in windows explore disk manager,...partitioned it and quickformatted now it is one big 800gb drive..and no it's not a Raptor, I mispoke on that one! :D

After I partitioned and named the two drives I went into the BIOS and enabled RAID (striping) on those two drives. When I went back into XP it had the drives as one but I couldn't access it...
