Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
No one knows of a bigger netbook? Is 10" enough? In the store they seem so small to me. Is it worth the sacrifice in size to get a bit more power? Is it really that much more power?
Those are all points I considered, but was wary because the screen on the one you linked is 2" smaller, and I would really prefer the larger screen. the comperable 12" atom/ion systems are another $100 or more. Anyone else have an opinion?
I've been debating between the two machines below. I'm pulled toward the ASUS one because it seems to be more powerful, even if it's just a single core processor. My question: which one will give me the best performance? I'm talking HD video and light gaming. Does anyone have experience with...
I've been using the same old headset I got with the special edition of Unreal Tournament 2004. It's really time for an upgrade, but I've blown all my cash on a new (and beautiful) rig.
Help!
My friend recently bought a few secondhand AQSonic AQ-415 model touchscreen monitors. They work just fine as displays, but we cannot find the touchscreen drivers anywhere! I tried the manufacturer's site, which is in Spanish (www.lbs.es) and though drivers claim to be available, several files...
I ended up going with the 4870.

With the rebate it seemed like the best deal, plus STALKER was one of the first games my friends were raving about that I never got to play.
My computer has decided to kick the bucket after 6 years. I started with it as a decent gaming rig, but obviously haven't been able to play many games with it lately. I'm building a new system and would like suggestions on a video card that'll run today's games well, and it would be nice if I...
I don't know why I completely forgot about the i5. Need to look at the board prices, but it does seem that it's a decent middle-of-the-road choice for price/performance. Any other suggestions?
Well, it finally happened. My beautiful custom build from 6 years ago has finally decided to take a crap all over itself. Bottom line is: I need to build a new system on a budget. I'm thinking the Phenom II X4 955 is the best bang for the buck, but I've seen some impressive statistics about...
She doesn't run Norton, though it may still be installed. She uses avg. I'll check out Windows Defender anyway. And to the other person, the same thing happens in firefox and IE.
Tried it, and the same thing happened. The file appeared to be downloading normally, then appeared on the drive for a second, then disappeared. Doesn't show up on any other computer either. Suggestions?
My friend has an HP laptop that came with windows vista installed, back when vista first came out (the day of, in fact). She keeps it updated and scans for viruses and such very regularly. A while ago, she discovered trouble downloading .exe files. She asked for my help.
What I found - the...
Well, the fan broke on my 9800 pro, which means I either never play a game again or have to replace the card. I'm not ready to upgrade the whole system, so I just want something cheap and similar to hold me over for the next couple months.
What should I look into? I'd prefer an ATI card...
