Is it possible to get a displayport to HDMI adapater and use the u2412m as a TV I realize its 16:10 and I don't know how to get around the no sound issue either?
I'm guessing its not possible or worth it but I am curious. Thanks guys.
I have two of these monitors now and I was thinking of...
I really doubt it's an S-IPS since there really aren't a lot of those for 24'' besides the ones NEC uses.
I am guessing it's still S-PVA, but I would really like to know what panel its using.
2407WFP-HC just went down 100$ with "instant savings" from $699 to $599 on Dell's website.
I think I'm going to wait for a used 2407 non HC Rev A004 to fall down further on ebay since the new model is out.
Why no update on the styling over the 2407 WFP? Hmmm I do prefer the old one but it's like what is the difference the panel is still S-PVA I'm assuming.
Thanks I told him to do what you said, I really think his stuff can be saved since we got the fan on it right away.. and it turned off by itself before hopefully anything happened.
He has one of those ANTEC P182 cases and had it aligned next to his desk. The case has a huge fan on the top. He spilled a cup of water and it went into the fan hole. The computer turned itself off... then he pulled the powercord and unplugged everything opened the case and put a fan blowing in...
I love this desk <3 it was like 150 dollars, not even, and its plenty big for two monitors. The shelves are easily removable, if you need to put an even bigger size mine is a 20'' it should be able to support 24" with two shelves and way more with only 1 shelf. I had the same problem I couldn't...
Sorry for the 1.3 megapixel pics my camera is broken after moving no idea how.
I have a 20.1 inch Dell E207 widescreen and a Dell 2007 widscreen not show in the pic. I can fit them both on the middle shelf it works perfect. Right now I have it sitting on the main shelf. I'll update pics of...
Is the Ikea Fredrik almost the same as the Ikea jerker?
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60111123
The Jerker got cancelled and I always really wanted one. I just got an apartment only to find the jerker is gone. :(
Does anyone have pics of the Fredrik so I can compare it to...
For a cheap price $300 and gaming you would probably want a TN panel.
E228WFP 22-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor.
You could look towards a PVA(good for video playback) or S-IPS but it would be a bit more money and TN is fine for gaming anyways because of its low response times.
