Which Speakers from Logitech?

Which one set should I get?

Logitech X-540 540

LOGITECH Z-4 2.1 SPEAKERS - 40W

both are from http://www.factorydirect.ca and I know they are refurbished, but i have baught from them previously and nothing is deffective to my experience (My Zune for one)

Im assuming it depends on what im doing with these speakers, so im very into multimedia (gaming, music, movies) i have an xbox 360 and want to hook it up to the speakers as well. The only thing that concerns me about the X-540's is that they are a cheap 5.1 and ?distortion? may occur....

I was given the x-540's for christmas. They are loads better than the 15yr old 2.1 Altec Lansing set I was using. However, there is a definate difference in clarity between the x and z series. As for distortion and static/interference from the 540's I have noticed any from mine. I don't turn them up all that loud either. I don't think I've even turned them up 1/4 of the way yet.

guess it depends on what you want...cheap surround sound, or better clarity/sound from a 2.1 setup.
 
if you want LOUD you'll need to step up to a higher-power set like the z-2300, 5300 or 5500. Some of the 2.1 sets are inexpensive and pack a great subwoofer to boot. I personally have listened to both the 5300e and 5500 and I would pick the 5500 in that situation since you want multiple simultaneous inputs.
