Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Same here. GTX570SLI and I get flickering foliage on occasion. It always just goes away on it's own though. Does'nt happen too often. Still on 285.62 drivers though. Have'nt tried with 290.63.
The issue that users were reporting with 2600ks and HyperThreading enabled have already been taken care of by dice in the last 2 patches and the nVidia Drivers as wells have fixed all stuttering issues. That is unless you hit a Vram wall, in which case briniging Anti Aliasing down to 2x will fix...
I was looking this up and it seems that with vsync enabled I should be using triple buffering. I enabled tripe buffering and the stuttering is gone. Though nVidia really needs to hurry up and relase a new driver for these goitches the game has.
Understood. So if it were more frequent then I should be worried huh. Though rare stuttering is microstutter, and have drivers reduced microsttutering in the past, or remedied it at least.
I know that stuttering in BF3 is a known issue. Though it seems that after disabling HyperThreading, the game seems to run a hell of a lot smoother. Though I still do get some stuttering. And it does'nt happen in places where you would expect suttering to occur.
It's extremely random. I have...
I'm so used to having laptops with a whole different set of issues. Desktops are a bit overwhelming, they're massive. Going to finish testing tomorrow and I will post some pics of my set up and give everyone a clearer picture.
Parts contracting could have caused the already loose connections...
I got it once before, run the render.perfoverlayvisible 1 or true command. I dont remember it exactly. And check to see how much of each card is being used.
And disable Hyper Threading as well, at least until a patch is released which will allow us to pay sutter free wit it on.
Well...no more crashes. I took out my PSU and put it back in and nothing.
I do remember after one crash a while ago in BF3 that one of my cards became disabled in nVidia control panel. I looked into my case and and noticed that the pins were a not all the way in. Actually, they were'nt even...
