Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Ok, so here is my setup. I have an Xbox360 connected to my Dell 2405 with component cables. My resolution is set at 1080i with 1to1 scaling. Here is my problem. When I play older DVD's (Terminator 2, Family Guy Season1), the top of my screen has a wavy line. I did try some newer DVD's, like...

Come on, nobody knows where the serial number is?? I am trying to get a replacement through Dell but they won't authorize until I verify my serial number. My grandparents are at home and they can't speak or read in English so I need to be specific on where it is.
Thanks,
Robert
Need some help real quick. I'm at work so don't have my monitor infront of me, so can someone let me know exactly where the serial number is.
Thanks.
Robert
I found this site with some help on calibrating your monitor. I"m sure it isn't the greatest but its a start if you don't want to spend any money.

Thanks for the help, but I've tried that already. Looks like I just have a defective panel. I have one more test to do and that is to hook it up to my friends x800 xt pe. If that provides the same results, then I'll send the panel back for sure.
Thanks,
Robert
Well, I tried everything. I even got the new NVIDIA 75.90 leaked drivers. If anyone has the 2405FPW and a 6800gt and are running at 1920x1200, can you check if you have this flickering problem. I've noticed that I can see the flickering when hardforums is fullscreen. Mostly seen in the...
Ya. It will start windows in a default VGA mode. I think it is 800x600 at 60hz. Then you can go to properties and change to whatever rez you want.

Thanks for the help. When I get home from work I'll try to swap cables and roll back the driver. If that doesn't work I'll RMA the beast.
Thanks,
Robert
I don't think so. I have the monitor plugged into my UPS so that should provide a nice clear signal. I unplugged everything else besides my computer. I though it might have been my speakers, but those have been unplugged as well.
