Can anyone help understand this panel technology and how it differs from other IPS and especially TN panels?
In addition, will this be a new trend for LCD makers/panels moving forward?....it sounds rather exciting :)
^^^^^^ - think i can answer this, the "not full screen" issue is related to input being used. I used VGA and it auto adjusted and showed a full 16:9 image during POST/bios stage but after i used a DVI cable it reverted to a standard 4:3 image for bios stage until i got into Windows.
Everest is reporting that my new M2400HD is only 21.7"...i thought it was 24" widescreen?...come to think of it, it dosen't really look like 24 inches

OK guys, i was/am an old skool hardcore CRT fanboy, my 5-year-old Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB is working perfect. Can't tell you how well i have treated it over the years...took great care.
I avoided LCD because i felt the technology had not evloved enough and considering the 1000 price...
Speaking for myself, i have decided to hold onto my 22" CRT...i'll wait for it to die or explode or something FUBAR happens. Then i'll be forced to move to LCD.
Shing, this CRT should have at least 2 years left in it! :D
Man i think i was acting CRAZY thinking LCD would compete with my...
 Mitsubishi Diamond pro 2070SB, the left side of the image wont align properly, it's not a totally square image...can anyone help me align my monitor....it's always been like this since the day i bought it.
It's not a major flaw, just annoying...i'd like to get as much screen area...
Side note, i contacted DELL for them to take back the 22" LCD for a full refund...the scumbags tried to charge me for shipping!
But i headed that off at the pass.
So i've decided to stick with my uber fly Mitsubishi Diamond pro 2070SB, but can anyone answer if it's better to run...
Trust me...if i could BUY a brand new Sony 24" widescreen, i would...you pay for what you get. I knew this back in 2003 when i paid 970 for my Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB, at the time i seriously considered the Sony but it was over 1,500.
Man i wish they still sold these high end...
The DELL 22" is lot smaller the the huge a** Mitsubishi...easier to move and repack if needed to move. But my issue is image quality, the DELL dosen't have any dead pixels and the backlight bleeding dosen't seem too extreme compared to some of the images of other DELL 22" models i have seen...
Jim, thanks for the review...but i am much more interested in your observations in regards image quality of the DELL 24" LCD compared to your Mitsubishi 2070SB 22" CRT (which i have)...
I'm in a pickle, trying to decide if the DELL will even come close to image quality of the Mitsubishi, what...
Guys, need some advice on this topic...i am coming from a 22" Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB, which as you might know is one (if not the best) CRT on the market besides the Sony 24" Widescreen.
It cost me 970 in November 2003, yesterday i received my DELL 22" Widescreen LCD, i know it's an...
