Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I am having trouble setting up my HTPC with my new Mits HC6000 projector. It has a lot overscan. I have downloaded the latest driver. I have tried the resize feature over and over, but it never moves.
Any suggestions?
I just finished my new HTPC and currently have it connected to a regular monitor. By the way my new card is a evga 8600GTS.
Do I want to install the new driver before connecting it to my HDTV for the first time?
I pulled and swapped out the 2 sticks of memory and still get the same error. This should eliminate the 2 sticks of memory-shouldn't it? They were both new sticks.
Does the labels that are stuck to them have anything that would mess them up?
Everything is brand new.
Intel DP35DP motherboard
Intel e6750 CPU
Corsair 2gb ram memory
Evga 8600GTS video card
200gb Seagate hard drive (not brand new)
DVD drive (not new either)
That is what I am trying to do. It gets to the point of installing hardware when this error message comes up. I even bought a new USB keyboard and mouse and still got the error.
I am finally starting up my new setup which include an Intel DP35DP motherboard. I keep getting this error "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". By searching it has something to do with Logitech Keyboards or Mice. I am not using either one of these. I am using a Compaq keyboard and mouse that worked before...

I am installing everything in my case and have a question about the power for the video card. I have the Corsair 520w PSU and it has cables that will plug directly into the video card and the PSU.
Can I use this instead of the "Y" splitter that came with the card?
Yes it is-no floppy drive connector.
Here is another question concerning the ide cables. One of the connectors will be used for the DVD-rom player and the other for the hard drive. Does it make any difference which connector goes where? The only way it will work is for the black connector...
I just received my new DP35DP and immediately noticed that I can only hook up 2 ide components. I have 2 hard drives plus 2 cd/dvd drives.
Is this correct that I can only use 2 of these components?
