I am finally starting up my new setup which include an Intel DP35DP motherboard. I keep getting this error "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". By searching it has something to do with Logitech Keyboards or Mice. I am not using either one of these. I am using a Compaq keyboard and mouse that worked before. I am thinking it has to do with this motherboard not having PS2 ports. I bought a Dynex PS2 to USB adaptor for this conversion.

Any ideas on what to do?

ps: I previously posted this at the motherboard forum, but was getting no hits.

That is what I am trying to do. It gets to the point of installing hardware when this error message comes up. I even bought a new USB keyboard and mouse and still got the error.

Everything is brand new.

Intel DP35DP motherboard
Intel e6750 CPU
Corsair 2gb ram memory
Evga 8600GTS video card

200gb Seagate hard drive (not brand new)
DVD drive (not new either)

I pulled and swapped out the 2 sticks of memory and still get the same error. This should eliminate the 2 sticks of memory-shouldn't it? They were both new sticks.

Does the labels that are stuck to them have anything that would mess them up?

I had this same exact problem recently, and I believe I narrowed it down to one bad stick of memory. I'm not really having any troubles using only one of my sticks (other than running out of memory Lol)
