    thats odd, i still have xp mode installed, windows is not showing any "rogue" drives. as for removing it, have you tried removing it using diskpart from a command prompt?

    360 HDDVD: i'm retarded...

    for what ever reason, the hd dvd drive wasn't showing up. unplugged it from the 360 and plugged it back in got it to show up in the dashboard.
