i picked up a cheap rosewill pci-e adapter, n180 something or other, for about $20 from newegg back in april for my bedroom pc. granted, i don't game on that one but it's been solid.

thats odd, i still have xp mode installed, windows is not showing any "rogue" drives. as for removing it, have you tried removing it using diskpart from a command prompt?

for what ever reason, the hd dvd drive wasn't showing up. unplugged it from the 360 and plugged it back in got it to show up in the dashboard.

so i picked up a jasper tonight. I have the hd dvd plugged into the 360 plus the external power. where in the hell do i launch the movie from? the whole nxe interface is new to me...

antivirus is off, no cisco vpn. comp management shows 3 partitions all basic/ntfs. hardware manager shows a perc 4e/Di card and two adaptec 39160/3960D ultra 160 cards. no idea on physical configuration for disks/raid setup. i can't power the box down for a closer look till sunday. :/

trying to convert a 2003 server using version 4.0. it fails out right after you specify destination saying "fatal error occured. the most common reason is loss of network connection." no firewall on the box being converted, nor the one doing the conversion. boxes have good connectivity...

after that last ArmA2 vid w/ the trackIR 5 i was almost sold. i don't do flight sims too much, but in nr2003/iRacing/any game like Arma2 the damn thing looks worth it's weight in gold. post up when you get it...

Joe, where is that date from? I've heard it tossed around since the beta started but haven't seen anything from MS on that date. MS says August '09 here. Even w/ the rearm that'll only get it out till march '10

He seems alot faster this time around. iirc, last time i played cat and mouse with him around one of the columns in the corner. now he seems to know where you are even though he can't see you. Crouch in the shadows either by the door you come in, or the shadows on the boxes just to the left...

The BB remake doesn't look great, but's not bad either. What is everyone using for Pixel aspect and screen size? I'm using 16:10->16:9, w/ 1920x1200 and the people look a bit thin.
