hey guys my motherboard is this one: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d945gcz/sb/CS-026632.htm i assume the 3.6 pentium d (2 cores) is the best that will fit in there even though the mobo supports 1066 and the lga775?

thanks for the replies. unfortunately i'm trying to transport a pci soundcard to 2 different computers. but i think the person who mentioned the latency issues is right that a pci->usb conversion wouldn't work.
