Windows SATA speed on any other of the Xeon 5100 workstations being offered by Boxx or Dell is normal, while on the Mac Pro, SATA drives run somewhat faster than an internet connection.

I'm sticking to Xplane because it's actually a flight sim.

Guys: A PC graphics card will work just fine in a Mac Pro - in Windows. You'll still need to be using the 7300GT to drive your display when you're using Mac OS X because Mac OS X is blind to non-EFI graphics cards while Windows isn't.

I hear this doesn't fix slow Mac Pro SATA after all. :(
