I have the M3A79T and I started off with a 9950BE cpu. I just recently upgraded to the 940 cpu. The problem is that when I try to go into the cpu settings in the bios, it locks up. I can do everything else in bios. Does this mean that I need to flash?

doesn't it just snap in? Mine came off pretty easy, haven't tried to put it back on.

I'd go with the first card on that list. I have it and performs amazingly with my 600 watt psu.

Amd boost for some reason automatically comes on every time I start up my pc. This drives the core temp up about 5 degrees. Ive tried everything to disable it. Is there some way to disable it through bios? or do I just need to uninstall amd overdrive?

My 9950BE was running a little on the warm side and since i have a sorta slim case I went with the Zalman 9500a and a little arctic silver5. I know its an older cooler but man it did the job. I've dropped at least 10 degrees and it now hovers around 30 at idle and occasionally dips into 20s.:cool:

Well airflow is really more important to me. The coolermaster wavemaster i'm using now has major issues. I can't even close the side panel without it overheating and im using an aftermarket cooler. I think its because of the size of my video card, it pretty much blocks the lower part of the case...
