M3A79T-Deluxe bios issues

I have the M3A79T and I started off with a 9950BE cpu. I just recently upgraded to the 940 cpu. The problem is that when I try to go into the cpu settings in the bios, it locks up. I can do everything else in bios. Does this mean that I need to flash?
 
most likely need to update the bios.. check their site and see if there are any specific bios for phenom II support.. if so then just update to the newest bios..
 
Thanks, I will give that a try even though I HATE the Asus website. Its ridiculously slow .
